About the hotel
Known as one of Edinburgh's best kept secrets, this traditional yet contemporary hotel is set in the very heart of Edinburgh, providing stylish accommodation in a historic setting.
The property was built in 1879 as a maternity hospital, Simpsons, one of the first hospitals in Britain. Today, the hotel provides a bright, contemporary restaurant and a cosy but stylish Snug Bar and reception lounge. Staff are very friendly, professional and obliging.
Ideally set for both business and leisure trips, the hotel is close to all key business districts, the Convention Centre, Princes Street, the Castle, rail and bus stations and all major attractions.
